This program is based on the sharing of
traditional and modern recipes that have been passed generation
to generation. The collection of recipes will be divided in
a booklet format that will reflect each of the traditional
Metis Communities in Ontario. This will highlight the uniqueness
of each Metis Community within our Nation. Each Participant
will receive a complimentary recipe book.
Please forward your recipes and or Community Stories to Shelley
Gonneville - shelleyg@metisnation.org.
Include your address to ensure you receive your complimentary
recipe book after printing which will occur in late winter
/ early spring of 2009.
Funding contributions for this project from the Ministry of
Health and Long-Term Care via the Aboriginal Diabetes Education
Program.
