Breaking Bread Across the Nation

This program is based on the sharing of traditional and modern recipes that have been passed generation to generation. The collection of recipes will be divided in a booklet format that will reflect each of the traditional Metis Communities in Ontario. This will highlight the uniqueness of each Metis Community within our Nation. Each Participant will receive a complimentary recipe book.

Please forward your recipes and or Community Stories to Shelley Gonneville - shelleyg@metisnation.org. Include your address to ensure you receive your complimentary recipe book after printing which will occur in late winter / early spring of 2009.

Funding contributions for this project from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care via the Aboriginal Diabetes Education Program.
