Buying Textiles to Help Mayan Women and their Children
Far
too many children in Guatemala are completely
dependent on the sales of textiles and curios
that their mothers sell on the sidewalks and
parks of Guatemala. Mayan women work untold
hours to weave beautiful materials only to
sell them at bargain basement prices. Many
Métis people would like to have theses
beautiful products in their homes while helping
out the families through their purchases.
